About Us
SNI Safety Nets Inc. is a privately owned company that was incorporated in British Columbia in 1998.
Our company president, David Andersen, has developed all of our workshop materials and continues to update them as required. He enjoys personally delivering the program to our clients. SNI Safety Nets Inc. first presented its Company Aviation Safety Officer (CASO) workshop in early 2003. Major courseware revisions made in May of 2005 have enabled us to offer a comprehensive Safety Management Systems (SMS) workshop.
David began his aviation career in 1968 as an Air Traffic Controller and subsequently worked in a variety of operational, training and automation positions. From 1995, until his retirement from Transport Canada in 2002, he worked in the Pacific Region System Safety Office in Vancouver. During that time he participated in the Safety Review of the Commercialisation of Air Navigation Services in Canada. David led Safety Review teams dealing with Victoria Harbour air and marine operations, Boundary Bay airspace safety and Wildlife Management at Vancouver International Airport. David also taught the Company Aviation Safety Officer and Pilot Decision-Making courses for TC.
While our primary service is the delivery of open SMS workshops, we also offer "in-house" SMS training and program development services.
